Laura Belsey is an American director and producer.
Biography[]
Little is known about Belsey's personal life. She directed multiple episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as well as serving as a second-unit director on Royal Pains. She has also directed hundreds of commercials and TV spots internationally, for clients such as Swatch, Honda, IBM, IKEA, and many more. Belsey has received over a dozen major advertising industry awards for her work, including a Cannes Gold Lion and One Show Best of Show. One of her TV spots is now in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. Belsey currently serves on the Directors Guild of America Eastern Directors Council, as an Alternate on the DGA National Board, and as a partner at Shadow Pictures, a film company in New York.
